Last Sunday afternoon was our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch and we had a great turnout. Huge “thank you” to Alba Rosado and the rest of the Rosado family for making this event happen, including cooking the delicious BBQ!!! We are so grateful for our amazingly hard working volunteers and this event was just our way of letting them know how much they are appreciated.

Lately Atlanta has certainly been living up to its nickname of “HOTLANTA”. Needless to say, our Work Day this past Saturday was HOT and HUMID!!!! Very special “thank you” to our dedicated volunteers who came out to work in the stifling heat. You all are amazing!
I know we sound like a “broken record” but we have some many people to thank for their support last weekend in making our Tack Thing Event and Silent Auction a huge success during the Ticket to Ride Benefit Horse Show. We’d like to give a special “thank you” to our friends at the new Chick-fil-A at Avalon for donating 50 chicken sandwiches plus a whole bunch of breakfast coupons for our volunteers and MWHR supporters last weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
MWHR would also like to thank our friends at Trader Joe’s in Roswell for donating some amazing snacks for our volunteers and MWHR supporters at the Tack Thing Event last weekend during the Ticket to Ride Benefit Horse Show. We are so grateful for the support of businesses in our community. 
MWHR is truly grateful to everyone who supported us last weekend at our Tack Thing Event & Silent Auction during the Ticket to Ride Benefit Horse Show. We are thrilled to announce that we raised $3,300 for MWHR which will go towards caring for the mustangs located at our Canton, GA facility. Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly before and during the event and to all our supporters who made this event a huge success!!!
Big “thank you” to Bella and Buck, and the whole Rosado family, for supporting MWHR on Friday afternoon. Former MWHR mustang, Buck, and his adopter, Bella, got to show off their obstacle challenge skills at the Ticket To Ride Benefit Horse Show. They did a great job! 
MWHR would like to give a very special thank you to the Bennett family, especially Caitlyn, for supporting MWHR this past weekend at the Ticket To Ride Benefit Horse Show. Caitlyn and Hocus Pocus showed off their dressage skills in a demonstration on Friday evening to help create awareness about how wonderful and talented these mustangs truly are in any job. 
We had an awesome time at Ticket To Ride Benefit Horse Show this weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing MWHR as your charity and supporting our efforts!! Ticket To Ride generously donated the proceeds from the Ride a Buck and Chicken Run Challenge classes on Friday night to MWHR.
Our mustang ambassadors, Hocus Pocus (left) and Roo (right), are getting ready for their dressage demo at the upcoming Ticket To Ride Benefit Horse Show on July 7th. In addition to the mustang demonstrations, we will be having the Tack Thing Event on Friday and a silent auction on Saturday.
